New 6th grade Home room teacher and 6-8 religion and social studies teacher coming to OLG

Mr. Zachary Marshall has accepted Our Lady of Grace School’s offer to relocate from Oregon to “come home” to OLG to teach 6th – 8th grade Religion and Social Studies as well as serve as the 6th grade homeroom teacher.

Mr. Marshall is an alumnus of Our Lady of Grace School and a former member of the parish. He was the Kid Kare Director and also taught drama and algebra, at OLG from 2011-2013. He also taught Physical Education for our own Rhythm and Moves, and then taught Jr. High at Carden Academy in San Jose. He relocated to Oregon in 2021 where he has been working as an elementary school teacher at Carden Cascade Academy.

In his words, he has been “missing home” so when he heard from Ms. Dawson that she was departing, he decided to apply and again, it is a real pleasure to be able to extend him a warm welcome.

Mr. Marshall is currently working out the details of an inter-state move as well as settling his courses at his current school which operates a year-round program.
