Volunteer & parent hours
There is more than one way to earn hours: take a booth shift (the biggest need), donate baked goods (1 hour per donation, max 3), donate prizes (2 hours per $50, max 2), or serve at the Pasta Dinner. High schoolers may volunteer on their own; middle schoolers should have an adult with them, except at the Pasta Dinner.
30 service hours per family for the school year; 15 hours for single-parent families.
8 of those hours must be worked at the Fall Festival. They are festival-specific — separate from your other service hours and not substitutable with them.
Any festival hours left uncompleted are billed at $75 per hour.
Eight unworked festival hours = $600

Sunday afternoon is our thinnest stretch of the weekend. Shifts are first come, first served — once a shift is full it closes, so grab the one you want.

High school · middle school · service hours
This is one of the best service-hour weekends of the year, and our students are a real part of how the festival runs.
May sign up and work a shift without a parent — great for service-hour requirements. Use the same sign-up form.
Serve as a group at Sunday's Pasta Dinner. Anywhere else, bring an adult along with you.
How to sign up: use the same online form — list the student's name on the shift. Middle schoolers wanting the Pasta Dinner can also tell their homeroom teacher to be added to the group.

Donate
The very popular Fish Tank booth needs new or gently used small toys and stuffed animals to use as prizes. Donations can be brought to the Parish Office by Friday, September 25. Office hours are Mon–Fri 8:30 AM–12:30 PM and 1:30–4:30 PM. Questions? Contact Leeanne Thomas (7th grade parent) at leeanne.thomas@olgcv.org.
- Prize Booth Amazon wish list — anything you send ships straight to the school and counts toward prize-donation hours. Open the wish list
- Cake Wheel desserts — drop off at the Parish Office beginning Friday, September 25, 9 AM–3 PM.
- Prizes by hand — $50 worth of prizes earns 2 parent hours (max 2).
- Baked goods — 1 hour per donation (max 3).
Donated prizes, desserts or baked goods? Log it here so your family gets credit — add your name and snap a photo of your receipt (if you have one) and we'll take it from there.
