On Friday, September 5, the entire student body joined Dr. Lines and the 7th Grade class in praying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary in response to the request by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops that all schools offer prayers for their sister school, Assumption Catholic School in Minneapolis, in the wake of last week's shooting during their opening of the year Mass.
Students took turns reading passages from the Gospels illustrating each of the mysteries. Students from TK to Grade 8, along with parents, teachers, and our pastor, Father Raphael, joined in praying the five decades. May something like this never happen again!
