Admissions Process

The admissions team looks forward to reviewing your application materials. We are confident that your child and family will be a wonderful addition to our school community.

In addition to reviewing a complete application, our school conducts an assessment of the child, according to their educational background and special needs. This process ensures that the child is placed in the appropriate grade level, so that we can best meet your child’s educational needs.

Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Assessment

For our Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten, the key criterion for entry is the developmental and social readiness of the child. The teachers for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten as well as the Principal will evaluate each child.

Assessment in Reading and Math for 1st - 8th Graders

All applicants entering grades 1 - 8 are required to take two (2) entrance exams appropriate to their grade level, facilitated by the Renaissance STAR Assessments in Reading and Math. An appointment for the entrance exams will be arranged, once the school has received a complete application.

Students with Special Needs

Admission of transfer students with special needs will be dependent upon the school program’s ability to meet these needs. If a child was enrolled in another school, he or she may be placed in a lower grade as age appropriate, at the discretion of the school.

RE-REGISTRATION

In March of each year re-registration of all returning families takes place. The non-refundable registration fee for the child/children in the family is due at this time. All online registration/enrollment paperwork must be completed and provided to the school office by the set due date. Emails to re-register your child will be sent out in February.
