The 2026 National Catholic Schools Week came to a close on Saturday, January 31, as Our Lady of Grace Catholic School conducted its annual Open House to announce to the larger community that great things are happening on our campus.
1. Dual language immersion from grades Jr. Kinder-2nd grade
2. Spanish, music, art from Jr. Kinder-8th grade
3. Latin as part of the ELA curriculum for all students, grades 6-8
4. Differentiated Reading and Maths from Grades 2-8
5. Winning team in the national Catholic Academic Junior High Decathlon
6. In the top ten diocesan schools for standardized reading and math
7. A diverse and certified "kind" student body (National "Kind Schools" program)
8. All state-certified teachers (or working on credentials) with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, half with Master's and two with doctoral level degrees)
9. And much, much more, including a very welcoming school community
During Catholic Schools Week, the students enjoyed dressing up as 100-year-olds to recognize 100 days in school, wearing academic gear to celebrate scholarship, dressing in "class themes" and in class colors, and welcoming grandparents and special friends to the campus for our annual Catholic Schools Week Mass. Finally, many participated in the annual talent show.
OLG is proud and happy to be a part of the National Catholic Schools network and invites all to come and see what all the excitement entails.
